We out here and got @ninjamuffin99 and @HenryEYES in the studio recording the podcast. They talk about the historical importance of Luis Day.

According to Wikipedia,

Luis Day was founded in the year 2007.

Named after Newgrounds user 'Luis', Luis Day is a day dedicated to Luis Castanon, and all the different submissions he has created and contributed on the web portal 'Newgrounds.com' (citation needed).

Luis Day gained prominence quickly and remained a staple of the website's culture and history for a few years, but over time it slowly lost interest. Probably because Luis is a dork!

But in 2020, Luis Day came back stronger than ever before, with around 100 different flash submissions dedicated to Luis releasing around that time.
